It’s been 22 years since we lost so much as a nation. Thousands of people died, and even thousands more died with the war that followed. Let us never forget all those who laid down their lives for others. Thanks to all those who have served and are currently serving! #fdny #911 #neverforget #firefighters #police #military #proudtobeanamerican ... See MoreSee Less

Congratulations to one of our very own, Nick Bohr! His wife, who plays on Team USA, brought home a Silver Medal to San Diego in Beach Volleyball from the World Police and Fire Olympics this year in Canada.

Team USA (made up of Police and Fire from across the US) had a total of 484 medals….A job well done!

Gold: 230 (top)
Silver: 142
Bronze: 112 #TeamUSA #Olympics #fireandpolice #goldmedal #silvermedal #winning

We have all heard the devastation that has consumed the island of Maui. They have limited resources and are in need of help. Local 1434 is communicating @opbbqrelief to get what help we can. Please check our bio for a link to help support. Thanks!!

The San Miguel Fire family is broken hearted to hear the news of one of our own. Battalion Chief Rich Durrell's daughter, Ashley, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. Our union has set up a GoFundMe to help raise money for Ashley and her family.
Ashley is a mother with two young children. The money will support Ashley and her family during this time. Please take a moment and click on the link in our bio and help support them. Anything will help. Thank you! #CANCERSUCKS #FireFamily #standtogether #strong
